Just wanted to catch you up on a few things before I take off for the WBT championship in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I have been spending as much time as possible practicing for the Championship. While I couldn’t make it down to Arkansas to get in some early practice, I have been fishing up north as much as possible. October is usually a great month for fishing, and this year has not disappointed. My club the Bergen Bassmasters, just fished our last tournament of the year on the Mohawk River in upstate NY. We had an Indian summer tournament. It was a full 30 degrees warmer than when we fished last year. I had a great tournament. The smallies were totally biting. I came in 6th my partner Andy Kairachi took 3rd. I caught all of my fish on a 4”Keitch Swing Impact. I have been fishing this bait like crazy all summer. I love Keitech’s innovative Japanese designs. I am honored that Keitech invited me to be a part of their pro team. Now I’m headed down south this weekend, to Arkansas, for next week’s championship. I am totally amped to fish the 2008 WBT Championship. I have been dreaming about this all year. Only 20 boats will fish, so wish me luck!!!
