Hi Everyone! I am back from the final WBT event of 2008 at Clark’s Hill
Reservoir in Georgia. Fishing was extremely difficult, with the lake
down almost 15ft from drought and high winds from IKE. I am happy to
report that I persevered, and was able to make the final cut and fish
the finals. I came in 19th and cashed a nice check! I was excited to do
so well under the tough conditions. This enabled me to drop my
Lewisville tournament and gain some valuable points. After having a
great year, I am thrilled to announce that I qualified and will be fishing
the 2008 Women’s Bassmaster Championship! This will be in Hot
Springs, Arkansas on Lake Hamilton Oct 23rd-25th. I am currently 2nd
(by 7 points) in the Toyota Tundra Co Angler of the year race. So, I
am really amped to duke it out for Angler of the Year in Arkansas. Only
twenty anglers and co-anglers will compete in the Championship. The
prizes are great, with the two top spots winning boats and cash. All
